Contributes to the Okemos School System
Michigan State University
is a large contributor to the Okemos Public School education system. MSU's
Teacher Intern Program has been recognized as one of the most outstanding
teaching preparation programs in the country. MSU also brings vast
diversity to Okemos Public Schools with families arriving from all over
the world. Bennett Woods Elementary serves as a "Concentrated Placement Site" for
MSU interns, giving students there a unique learning opportunity.
