High School
With a new facility opened in
1994, Okemos High School has nearly 1,450 students. Well-known
for its academic excellence and highly acclaimed sports teams,
Okemos High School students are involved throughout the community.
Okemos High School is recognized for posting some of the highest
scores in the state in mathematics, science and language arts
on the Michigan Merit Exams. The fine arts and music programs
are considered some of the finest in the State of Michigan and
contribute significantly to helping our students achieve over 97% college
enrollment, with 74% of 2006 graduates attending four-year colleges.
This community supports education and Okemos High School is the crown
jewel in our education system.
